I'll give you a little history behind "the measuring". Every December we measure the kids to see how much they have grown and since we never live in one place for very long Kelsey had the kids paint a measuring board that we could take with us. They made it when Kyle was about 6. They look forward to it every year! This year was especially fun because my parents were here on their way back from Oklahoma. Here is Emily with my mom. They are best buddies!
Emily thought that maybe because she had grown so much that her hands might be bigger than my moms now! Not quite yet!
Mason thought that because he grew so much that he could take my dad down...but he soon learned that he has a long way to go!
For those of you who have asked, "who does Mason look like?" here's your answer...my dad! And they have a special bond because my dad was in the hospital room with me when Mason was born. He was the first one to ever see or hold Mas!
Kelsey now has to stand on a step stool to measure Kyle! Kyle has almost stopped growing...he only grew about 1/4 of an inch!
Mason grew the most this year with over 3 inches! We think that he just might pass Kyle by some day. Slow and steady!
Emily grew almost 3 inches also. Who knows, maybe she'll catch up to when Kyle was 8 years old!!!

Ummm yes Mason did grow a bunch. I saw that when he visited with those short pants. Ha Ha
